Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has defended Darwin Nunez‘s performance in the 1-0 defeat to Salzburg on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old had just hit four goals in the 5-0 win over Leipzig. But he play 45 minutes in the last game and was unable to play before being substitute off the pitch at half-time.

Klopp has spoken of the Uruguay international’s performance in this game, explaining why the players were unable to play due to team composition. If playing in the second half will definitely be much ufabet more dangerous.

“We have prepared the boys and everything is going well. They can do better and they have a good time too. especially in the first half Most of the players have to get used to what we do,” said Klopp.

“Darwin was isolated too often. Everyone was involved in too much forming on the flanks. And we only pass the ball for Darwin in the box.”

“He had his moments and almost scored. But he also needs support around him. You messed up other players that you couldn’t focus on him, a lot of things.”

“In the second half, imagine Darwin being in the box. That would be of great help. it’s like this It’s not a good feeling. But we will fix it.”
